Treatment in Ayurveda

You might be wondering: How can Ayurveda help treat back pain?

Back pain can be effectively treated in Ayurveda. Basically, ayurvedic treatment strives to balance the three doshas – Vata ( qualities reflecting elements of space and air), Pitta (qualities reflecting fire and water) and Kapha (qualities reflecting elements of water and earth).

The doshas are dynamic energies that change according to actions, thoughts, diet, seasons and other sensory inputs. According to Ayurveda, the vitiation of any of these three doshas can cause back pain. Ayurvedic treatment involves both internal and external methods to cure back pain.
